Welcome to my new website....dedicated to the work I do with vinyl lettering.

Everything on this site has been handmade by me in my home.

I can do almost anything you would require, including decorative signs on wooden boards, ceramic tiles, glass frames, or even designs so that you can put the vinyl lettering directly on your walls. The possibilities are endless for you to define or beautify your living space, inspire a work or creative area, or to give as a special gift to someone.

Wooden signs ~ all are made with a high grade, smooth 1" pine, and can be made in any length & the following heights: 4", 6", 8", 10" & 12". Any signs required larger than this size are made on MDF.

Ceramic Tiles ~ Any phrase or design can be customized on any size or color of tile you can find! I recommend smooth finish tiles (the vinyl will adhere better)

Vinyl Lettering ~ Personalize any room in the house with beautiful vinyl wall lettering... the latest trend in interior decorating and home decor. Decorative vinyl lettering is a easy way to add personality, and simple elegance to any room in your home. Wall lettering offers many advantages over paint, especially since you can remove it with very little effort.

You can either use pre-designed vinyl lettering, or you can visit my font, quote, and color libraries to custom design your own wall lettering.

How the Signs got started:

I'd made a few decorative wooden signs as gifts for people when I lived in Halifax. When I moved here to Grande Prairie I decided that if no one in the immediate area had a "monopoly" on the sign making business, I'd give it a try. I started slow at first, adding a few signs to my collection to showcase with my card display at the market. Things went well... but I didn't make a huge investment in it at first. I didn't even buy a lot of equipment at first...I just borrowed things from friends & went from there, (I did, however, buy & taught myself how to use a router.) One reason I didn't invest in woodworking equiptment right away was because we lived in a small one bedroom apartment at the time & couldn't really cut or router wood there.

Unfortunately, I started too late to get enough stock built up to do the Christmas show last year. I did make enough for the season, however, & was happy with how they did during the first Christmas season. It makes me happy to think that people like to give my decorative wooden signs to friends & family as gifts.

Things have been going well with the signs. I've had requests for comission jobs & have done a few business signs for people. One of the best things that's come from all of this is the opportunity to have the Grandview Country Store carry my signs. Sheryl Anderson (owner/operator) approached me a while ago about getting them into her store on a regular basis...and after a little game of phone tag, we managed to make it a possibility. If you get the chance, you should check out all the great decorative/gift items she has available there!

And I've expanded my repertoire of products to include vinyl lettering sayings on ceramic tiles, glass frames & even directly on your walls!

All in all... I'm keeping myself busy! I'm on Maternity Leave right now, but will be heading back in a few weeks to my full time job as a Dental Assistant @ Nova Dental. (#201, 10015 - 102 Ave / 539-0404)
